‘Diapason’ heads to Busan Film Festival

‘Diapason’ is to screen at the 24th Busan Int' Film Festival in South Korea.

‘Diapason’ is scheduled to go on screen at the 24th Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.

Directed and penned by Hamed Tehrani, ‘Diapason’ will experience its first international appearance at ‘New Currents’ section of one of the most important film festivals in Asia.

According to the official website of the festival, ‘Diapason’ is about a 50-year-old single working mom named Ra’ana who is living happily with her daughter Hoda until Hoda meets a sudden death in an accident.

‘Diapason’ is a social drama with the starring lead role of ‘Breath’ star Zhale Sameti.

Other cast members include Behnoush Bakhtiari, Alireza Ostadi and Masoumeh Rahmani.

Besides the abovementioned actors who are some professionals in the field, a batch of ten young talents has been picked as the rest of the cast team.

ifilm earlier reports have announced that the festival will also play host to two Iranian documentaries ‘Narrow Red Line’ and ‘The Unseen’.
